These fine quality switches are used in many aircraft. The switch housing is now machined from billet aluminum which makes this switch 25% lighter. They provide “ON” and “OFF” electrical control of both magnetos on single engine aircraft. The Key-operated switches mount from the rear of the panel in a 7/8” dia hole. Available with or without starter position.
A510-2: Has starter position and comes with switch plate, two keys, and diode included. FAA PMA
A510-2K: Has starter position and comes with 2 aircraft locks (one door and one baggage), two keys mated to ignition switch and locks, and diode included. (PMA’d, except for door and baggage locks)
A510-5: Does not have starter position, comes with switch plate and two keys; diode not required.
