Return Policy

ALL PRODUCTS MUST BE RETURNED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF RECEIPT OF ITEM.  All returned items must receive prior approval from Wicks via phone or email and be accompanied by an invoice, name, address, email and daytime phone. There is a 20% restocking fee on all items returned.

The following items are non returnable:

  • Books, CD’s, Video Tapes
  • Items that have been installed/used
  • Hazardous Materials and/or ORMD Materials
  • Clearance Items
  • Special Order Items
  • Any Items cut to size, examples: Metal, Wood, Fabric, Etc.
  • Any Item with a shelf life, examples: Paint, Batteries, Oil, Etc.

 

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

 

Shortages & Incorrect Merchandise

Shortage: Wicks must be notified within 48 hours of receipt. Check packing list notations, noting if item has been back ordered.

Incorrect Merchandise: If the material you receive does not correspond with your order, notify us immediately within 48 hours of receipt referencing order and item. Hold incorrect items until instructions for return are received.

Breakage or Damage:

UPS: If the shipment has been tampered with, contact Wicks Aircraft immediately. Have the UPS driver note on delivery and SAVE the damaged carton for inspection.

PARCEL POST: Evidence of a parcel post shipment shortage; or, tampered shipment: Contact local postmaster who will then call and inspect the shipment. If insured, file a claim with local post office and notify Wicks in writing giving details. Parcel Post tracing – 90 days from date of shipment.

TRUCK FREIGHT: DO NOT sign for shipments until inspection of damage is noted by delivery person. According to the contract terms and conditions of the carrier, the responsibility of Wicks Aircraft ends at the time and place of shipment(Wicks Aircraft Loading Dock) at which time  carrier then assumes full responsibility. If loss or damage in shipment occurs, comply with the following: Common Carrier Delivery (truck or air freight) damage or loss discovered after delivery to consignee shall be reported to the delivering carrier at the closest terminal immediately upon discovery. Have the delivery person note on the freight bill the nature and extent of the showing damages. Keep container and its contents for inspection by carrier with a prepared statement of circumstances and facts showing damage or loss prior to delivery. Return the delivery receipt and inspection report directly to Wicks Aircraft Supply, 410 Pine St, Highland, Illinois 62249.

YOU MUST KEEP the carton and all contents until settlement is adjusted. If this precaution is not taken, we cannot assist you in recovering the amount of claim against the carrier.
