The ETX680 lithium battery has a lot of punch for such a light battery!
This battery is intended for an aircraft engine of 400ci or less; 60 amp alternator/generator or less. Can be used in experiemental aircrafts or race cars, just match up the alternator output with the correct battery.
This is also an excellent battery choice if you have a touring motorcycle. If your motorcycle has a V-twin engine larger than 110 ci, then you should upgrade to the ETX900 as it delivers the additional cranking amps needed for a V-twin engine start.
The ETX battery series is fully protected by an integrated battery management system (BMS) that protects the cell’s from over discharge, over charge, short circuit, temperature, plus cell balancing to ensure charge levels are equal. Additionally, the ETX Hundred series batteries have redundant electronic circuits and battery fault indication. The fault indicator can be connected into your EFIS or wired to a 12volt LED light on your control panel (SOLD SEPARATELY) to alert you to the state of charge and state of health of the battery.
