This extremely bright lighting system is ideal for homebuilders, sport aircraft or powered parachutes. The lamps are the high intensity discharge Xenon bulbs that have no filament in them to break. The ballasts steps up the voltage to 25,000 volts which starts the lights. After the bulbs are lit, the current draw is only 3 amps per bulb. The kit includes two lamps, brackets, mounting hardware, two ballasts and a cable package. The lamp housing is only 2" x 4" with al lens of 1-1/2" diameter so they can be mounted nicely in the cowl or on the wings without disrupting the airfoil of your aircraft.
