This is one of the highest strength aluminum alloys available. Its strength-to-weight ratio is excellent, and it is ideally used for highly stressed parts. Available in the alclad form to provide corrosion resistance with the over-all high strength being only moderately affected. 7075 conforms to Federal specification QQ-A225/9C. Rolled sheet is not returnable. 7075-0 Tensile strength: 32,000 psi, yield strength: 14,000 psi. 7075-T6 Tensile strength 76,000 psi, yield strength 67,000 psi. Has PVC covering on one side.
