ENGINE DE-HUMIDIFIER

The Engine Dehumidifier by Aircraft Development, will add hours of life to your engine by helping protect it from rust and corrosion. This engine dehumidifier placed in the end of the exhaust stack, when the engine is not in use, not only prevents the engine from breathing which can cuase condensation inside an engine but the chemical in the engine dehumidifier's cartridge absorbs moisture already in the engine and keeps the relative humidity inside the engine at about 25 percent. At this level of relative humidity rust and corrosion are very much inhibited. The chemical in the engine dehumidifier's cartridge indicates by ist color when the chemical is saturated and can no longer absorb anymore moisture. At that time replace the chemical with the additional chemical supplied with the engine dehumidifier. The saturated chemical can be reused over and over again by recharging it by heating it in an oven. The engine dehumidifier is especially useful if the engine is idle for extended periods of time. The engine dehumidifier also has the following features: an attached cap for when the engine dehumidifier is not in use, has a red remove before flight streamer, will fit exhaust pipes measuring 2" to 3" in diameter.
