| Solvent removable (or post emulsifiable) color contrast penetrant, deep red in color. It is useful over the entire range of industrial applications where a color contrast penetrant system meets the requirements for locating surface-open flaws. Typical applications are on welds, castings, general metal work, leak testing, and forgings, in power plant and marine construction, pressure vessels, petroleum and chemical industry maintenance inspection. More applications are on metals, but it also can be used on non-porous ceramics. Not recommended for inspection of plastics as the dye may stain, soften or dissolve them.
