Red cylinder rechargeable Halon 1211 fire extinguisher. A 6 year maintenance and 12 year hydrostatic test is required. A1600 features a durable red aluminum mono bloc cylinder, all metal valve construction, pressure gauge and metal strap mounting bracket. Capacity 3 lb, 8 oz, gross weight 5 lb, 2 oz, U/L rating 1A:5B:C (ULC) capacity 1584 grams, discharge range 8-10 ft, duration of discharge 14-16 seconds, maximum leakage rate 4 grams per year. Evaporates on contact, leaving no damaging powdery residue to damage engines, electrical systems. Has heat seeking capability, 20 year shelf life, and contains 1# more Halon than most extinguishers. The difference is the lightweight cylinder making gross weight similar to other extinguishers. Non corrosive, nonconductive, colorless, odorless and non-staining.
