G'day Scott,
I am still plugging away at my Varieze. The installation of a Jabiru 6 is proving to be very challenging, I know it will be worth it in the end, but it is a development program so I have been doing a lot of trial and error. There are some pics attached including my oil cooler plenum system, I made the molds with blue foam covered in grey duct tape then glassed, a great way to prototype for one off stuff.
I plan to have an engine installation that has no ducting tube of any type, scat, sceet or other...just direct inlet diffusers to the carb and oil cooler and I will use electric carb heat, so no air mixer box. It's all slowly coming together.
Thanks for your interest and your great service. I hope you find the pictures informative.
